Shopify configuration

This guide walks you through enabling the permissions BS needs to read live inventory and create the secure Shopify checkout.

Connected store

Shopify permanent domain: radiant-beauty-boutique-t2qz2-qvfreywy.myshopify.com

The OAuth connection is active. The Storefront API token already works for catalogue and checkout. Only the inventory scope is left if you want exact unit counts.

Storefront API scopes

These are the permissions the 'Lovable Storefront' app needs. The one marked pending is the only one requiring manual activation.

Leer productos públicos
unauthenticated_read_product_listings
Permite mostrar catálogo, precios e imágenes.
Crear checkouts
unauthenticated_write_checkouts
Necesario para el botón 'Comprar' y el carrito.
Leer inventario en tiempo real
unauthenticated_read_product_inventory
Muestra 'disponible', 'agotado' y unidades exactas. Es el que falta activar.
Leer planes de venta
unauthenticated_read_selling_plan_groups
Opcional: solo si usas suscripciones o planes de pago.

Step by step: enable live inventory

1. Open the Storefront app
In Shopify Admin go to Settings → Apps and sales channels. Find the app with the Storefront API integration (usually 'Lovable Storefront' or your private app) and open it.
2. Edit the scopes
Inside the app, open Configuration → Storefront API access scopes. You will see the list of permissions.
3. Tick the inventory permission
Find and enable unauthenticated_read_product_inventory. Save the changes.
4. Back to the site
The site checks inventory every 30 seconds. As soon as the scope is active, product cards will show 'available', 'sold out' or exact units as designed.

What if I need to regenerate the token?

If you create a new app or regenerate the Storefront API access token, tell me here in the chat and I will update it in the code. Do not paste it in public comments: use the secure form, or ask me to open the secret field.

The active token stays protected in the store configuration and is never shown publicly.

Secure checkout

All payments, shipping and tax data are handled inside Shopify's native checkout. BS does not store cards or billing addresses. The cart syncs with Shopify and the official checkout opens in a new tab.
